American Express was founded in 1850, in Buffalo, New York, by
Henry Wells, William Fargo, and John Butterfield as an express
business. In 1882, American Express launched its
money order business to compete with the US Post
Office's money orders. This product quickly spread to
Europe where no such financial product existed.
American Express is one the most well known credit card
providers today and has been for many years. They offer low APR
credit cards with some having an introductory of 0% APR for up to 15
months. American Express also offers low balance transfer APR credit
cards having transfer rates of 3.99% for life of the card. The Free
Reward Programs enable the consumers to earn points and redeem
the points for products, travel, hotels stays, cash and many of the credit
cards have no annual fees. Also, American Express offers their users
cash advances.
Discover Platinum cards offer 0% APR introductory up to one year with
no annual fees, 5% cash rewards, 0% fraudulent liability and limitless
cash rewards of 1% on other purchases. The customers get double
rewards for purchasing products from name brand companies.
HSBC MasterCard credit cards offer an assortment of manufactured
goods to choose from. Not very many credit cards offer 0% APR and
may not apply to the cash advances. If the consumer fails to make
payment during the introductory, or else goes over the credit card limit,
the APR may increase up to 18.74%.
Chase credit card offers have 5% on purchases and 0% APR up to
one year. Consumers can receive 1% cash back on additional
purchases. Chase offers a variety of credit cards with each having it's
own unique feature.
There are a number of different credit card providers offering
numerous different credit cards. All providers will say their credit card
is the best on the market. Consumers have to review all offers and
decide which credit card is best for their lifestyle. It is very important
